Today I added a few more new bags on my Etsy Shop. I am really trying to sew more bags these days and new styles so stay tuned for the month of October I expect great things in my sewing room! I moved my whole sewing studio in a loft that my boyfriend just helped finish on my fathers land. It is beautiful. It feels like I am sewing from up in the trees! I sewed my first bag up there today and had a wonderful time drinking coffee, sewing and watching the birds outside my new window. Pictures of the new space coming soon!

I heart Autumn
As autumn approaches the rain follows close behind. We have not had a good rain on the island for a few months so I am sure the plants were very happy this morning. The rain is sets a mood on the island and one that all summer I was dreaming of. It brings you inside and makes me excited for warm winter fires! But we are no quite there yet we still have gardens full of veggies and flowers. So here are a few bouquets that I picked before the autumn rain washes them away.
Happy Fall to You! Hope the change of the seasons is exciting for you as it is for me!

So Long Poppies
All my poppies have said good bye to their delicate petals. Here are a few of my favorite poppy flowers that grew in my garden this summer!
I have been collecting seeds from all my poppy pods and already getting excited for the surprise of when these little seeds firsts burst open in the spring.
(Photo take by honeytree)
The garden is looking rather depressing, it has fully made its change into a sun bleached and dying leaves garden. I have a little winter garden of cabbage, kale, leeks and spinach but the large amount of the garden is quickly on its way out.
What are your favorite plants to collect seed from?

Harvest Moon and New Beginnings
The Harvest Moon was last night, it crept up and surprised me just as I was falling asleep it rose and light up the midnight sky. What a pretty sight!
(Moon Photo by missquitecontrary)
This week is a big change for my, I stopped working full time and went down to working 2 days a week. I am ready to put more energy into my bags. I am a little nervous but also very excited I have many new ideas but actually applying them is the hard part. But here I go on another journey so wish me luck! I have faith it will all work out, as everything always does.
Here are some photos from my morning walk, it was feeling very autumn like around here.
Happy Harvest Moon... Look for the bright moon tonight!
